About Us

A Personal Note From Jerry Hankins

My wife, Linda, and I started Hankins & Associates, Inc. in 1992 with a commitment to do high quality work for our clients. Since then, a lot has changed (and continues to change) in the world, but our commitment to the highest quality remains. We take great pride and delight in the work we do, we are committed to our community, and we treasure family and friends.

Growing up in Central Bucks County, I learned old fashioned values including working hard, providing good products and services for people, being honest and forthright with others, and living by the golden rule (Treat others as they want to be treated). After graduating from Central Bucks East High School, I enlisted in the US Army and proudly served our country in the 82nd ABN. When I returned to the community, I was trained and gained extensive experience in designing and building kitchens, which I have been doing now for more than 35 years.

We are blessed to live in a great community and proud to be a vibrant part of it. We tend to work with people who are rooted in their own communities and who take a long-term view on their home and the community in which they live. When possible, we prefer to work with other businesses rooted in community rather than dealing with distant, uninvolved organizations.

Our clients tell us time and time again just how important their kitchen is for their family. We truly believe that the kitchen is the Heart of the Home. Though we’re empty nesters now, we knew (and still do know) how important the kitchen is ... from sunup to days end when we head off to rest our heads ... our kitchens are the center of our home. We know it is the same for many of our clients.

If you’d like to talk with me, feel free to pick up the phone and give me a call at 215.794.5930. I look forward to a friendly conversation about your kitchen need and ideas.

More Than Just Kitchens

In addition to creating great kitchens, we also help clients with new bathrooms, libraries, home offices, media rooms, and a variety of built-ins throughout the house. If you have an idea you’d like us to talk with you about, just let us know. We love taking on creative projects, such as the ones featured below. We'll be happy to talk with you about turning your dream into a reality.

Consultation

We also provide kitchen and bath consultation independent of our design services and other product offering. We'll assist you with the material selection and acquisition of cabinetry, flooring, counters, backsplash, appliances, sink equipment and more that you provide. We can also provide consultation on your installation. Our fee-based consultation is charged hourly and invoiced on a monthly basis.

Capable Cabinetry Options

Once your new kitchen is designed, it is essential to select cabinetry, countertops, flooring, lighting and plumbing fixtures, appliances, cabinet hardware and décor that work best for you. We will help you find the right balance between your needs, desires, and budget.

As part of our commitment to the clients we serve, we offer a broad selection of quality cabinetry that meet a range of style and budget requirements. Unlike some other kitchen and bath dealers, we make our very own Bretonwoode — Bespoke Cabinetry here in-house using only quality materials. In addition to custom, we also offer other cost-effective options that we believe are better quality and possibly less expensive than imported flat stacked RTA (ready to assemble) cabinets from the P.R.C., later assembled here in the US after it leaves the docks. We do not stock any Cabinetry. All of our cabinetry options are both made to order and Made here in the US.

Our goal is to provide the best values available to all of our clients, whether they are looking at the finest custom cabinetry or budget-priced selections.
